How To Fill SSC CGL Online Form 2025
- Visit the Official SSC Website: Go to the new SSC portal: ssc.gov.in
- Register Now: Click on the “New User? Register Now” link in the login section.
- Fill Basic Details:
- Enter your Aadhaar Number (and confirm it). If not using Aadhaar, select another ID type and enter its number.
- Enter your Name exactly as it appears on your Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate (and confirm it).
- Indicate if you have changed your name.
- Select your Gender (and confirm it).
- Enter your Date of Birth exactly as on your 10th Class Certificate (and confirm it).
- Enter your Father’s Name and Mother’s Name exactly as on your 10th Class Certificate (and confirm them).
- Enter your Matriculation (10th Class) Board, Roll Number, and Year of Passing.
- Enter your Highest Educational Qualification.
- Provide your Mobile Number (and confirm it).
- Provide your Email ID (and confirm it).
- Additional and Contact Details: Fill in your Category, Nationality, Visible Identification Mark, information about benchmark disabilities (if any), Permanent Address, and Present Address.
- Declaration: Read the declaration carefully and click “I Agree.”
- Final Submit: After reviewing all details, click “Final Submit.” You will receive OTPs on your registered mobile number and email ID. Enter one of the OTPs to complete the registration.
- Note Down Credentials: Upon successful registration, you will receive a Registration ID and Password. Keep these safe.
Part 2: Filling the Online Application Form
- Login: Go back to ssc.gov.in and log in using your newly generated Registration ID and Password.
- Access Application Form: On your dashboard, look for “Latest Notifications.” Find “Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025” and click on the “Apply” link.
- Pre-filled Information: Some details from your OTR will be pre-filled. Verify them.
- Fill Exam Specific Details:
- Exam Center Preferences: Choose three examination centers in order of preference (ensure they are within the same region).
- Ex-Serviceman/Age Relaxation: Fill in if applicable.
- Post Preferences: You will need to indicate your preferences for the various posts available under SSC CGL. Refer to the official notification for post codes and details.
- Educational Qualification Details: Re-confirm your qualifying educational qualification and percentage/CGPA.
- Upload Documents:
- Photograph: Upload a recent scanned photograph as per the specified dimensions and size (e.g., usually 20KB-50KB, JPEG format). Ensure it’s clear, with a light background, and without cap/spectacles. Some new updates allow for live photo capture directly through the portal or app.
